ACP Humanitarian Aid manages computer and sewing courses, Italian culture and cooking classes in various refugee centers. A sport activity is planned twice a week. Several volunteering initiatives such as food bank and garden cleanings take place in agreement with the Municipality. All projects all aim to improve people's social integration as well as enhance their environment.
Current situations and future challenges
In some Italian areas, the unemployment rates are hitting 23% mark, while 40,1% of are young people are out of work (2016 ISTAT data). ISTAT has recently estimated that 4.742.000 people are living in absolute poverty. A material poverty often leads to a spiritual and moral poverty of the person, who ends up in a state of isolation. For those people being part of society becomes always harder. Challenges are copious and huge. ACP can't tackle them all, but decided to take action and give a contribution, upholding rooted local organizations.

Our concrete commitment
We act to ensure cooperation and synergy with institutions. We manage clothing collection and sorting, we run courses aimed at the person's development and integration.
Goals
In order to meet the needs of the city, ACP wants to create a multipurpose centre with counseling service, classrooms, about 10 beds, a canteen and second hand clothes storage. The centre will also take care of the distribution of the monthly food box to the area's needy people.
